Bolu Kukus

Today Fida came to my house. Then I had an idea to make "bolu kukus". Bolu kukus is an Indonesian kind of cake which is steamed, not baked like any other cake. It is served in a paper cup, just like a cupcake. The texture is soft and cloudy, light and sweet.

So, we went to ****mart to buy a bottle of sprite. Why do we need sprite? don't get too curious, I'll give you the recipes. It's very simple, girls.

Bolu Kukus

What you need :
2 eggs
250 gr caster sugar
1 tsp essence
1 tsp cake emulsifier
350 gr flour
225 cc sprite
2 tsp cocoa powder

Steps :
1. Mix eggs, sugar, and essence well in a large bowl with mixer
2. Add cake emulsifier, mix for about 2 minutes
3. Add flour and sprite, mix well for about 6 minutes
4. Take 3-4 tbsp batter for the chocolate topping in a small bowl, stir with cocoa powder
5. Pour the white batter first into the paper cup, then add the chocolate batter
6. Boil the water in the steamer
7. After that, steam for about 15-20 minutes

Stop Global Warming

Such a very very hot day this afternoon. It seemed that the sun do its duty well, to shine brightly. But Mr. Sun, that was too bright actually. You can almost boil a cup of water outta there.

But in the evening, the weather turned out to windy and cloudy. The wind blew strong. The leaves kept falling. It was really dark and cold outside. And now, at 8.30 pm, it's raining. Not a heavy rain, just a drizzle.

Wow, 3 different weather in a day. I'm start thinking about global warming. Maybe that drastically weather changes is just a little effect. Then what is the extreme effects? what will happen tomorrow? I assure you to watch The Day after Tomorrow .
When global warming has become a very serious problem, the earth would totally covered by water. How could? because the water level rise due to the melting ice in the northpole. You don't wanna sink with million people next year, do you?

If the world getting worse, are we just gonna stand there and watch? No beybeh, we won't!! We will do anything to stop global warming. You can start from yourself first. You can ride a bicycle instead of a car, you can reduce electricity usage, and you can also plant trees in front of your house. I know it sounds very simple, but we'll never know if we don't try.
Let's stop global warming and the world can smile again.

What Kind of Shoes?

Whoaa...finally my 1st semester test is over!!! feelin' so relief today eventhough I dunno the result yet. Just hope for the best *sigh.

Forget 'bout that, btw I've just bought a pair of shoes (again). After school my friends and I went shopping *we're ready to invade, watch out people! And the invasion begun! We walked around from one store to another for about 5 hours.

But it was worth! the result is :
Dini : got a nice mini backpack
Amal : got a loose brown cardigan and 5 different color hijab
Uwik : got a loose grey cardigan (the same as Amal's but differents in color)
Me : got a pair of dark brown shoes

this is it...ta da..

FYI, I need an hour just for selecting which pair I should buy, red or dark brown *with my friends' grumble for half an hour. And I finally choose this *of course with sigh of relief from them. But actually I dunno what kind of shoes they are. I think they're ofxord-semi-wedges.
